Management & Maintenance Services

The initial installation or modifications of an irrigation system is only, we like to think, the start of our relationship and we, mostly, look forward to many years of service to you. Most of our customers we have known for years and are very grateful to you all.

An irrigation system, is not on the whole, something that requires a lot of maintenance and should give you many years of untroubled use. But most irrigation system are not designed to operate in temperatures below 0°c. This keeps the cost down and except in unusual situations (professional football, dust suppression) the irrigation system is not required in the winter.

This means that the system needs to be drained down in the winter and reset in the spring. Our systems are designed for this and is a relatively straight forward procedure. In the autumn we will check over the system, making a note of any maintenance issue that require attention before the spring and then drain down the system. In the UK blowing out the system with compressed air is not required.

In the spring we will close all the draining points, refill the system and make sure everything is working as it should. We carry with us a lot of spares so that any small repairs can be carried out at the time of our visit. With our drain down and start up service we do our best to group our customers together by area so that we can carry out these visits as efficiently as possible keeping the travel and mileage costs down.

If you’re often away from home or managing a second property with an irrigation system, our tailored management service can be invaluable. Our team conducts monthly site visits to ensure everything operates smoothly, addressing any issues before they escalate. From checking for leaks caused by pests to adapting systems as your garden evolves, we help maintain optimal performance. For internet-controlled systems, we monitor weekly to ensure everything is functioning correctly and can be on the alarm call if the system starts to operate outside its parameters. A charge is made for this service.
